YOU DON’T TAKE A PHOTOGRAPH, YOU MAKE IT

The portrait photo is considered a king discipline among photographers. No wonder – this is not just about the skill with the camera, but above all, to keep the model at its best, to direct it into the optimal poses and then to push at the right moment. In portrait photography you do not just want a nice shot but want to make a man stand in a very special light. Sometimes especially attractive, sometimes very interesting, but perhaps also a bit threatening or fearful.

Die Portraitfotografie gilt als Königsdisziplin unter Fotografen. Kein Wunder – hierbei kommt es nicht nur auf das Geschick mit der Kamera an, sondern vor allem darauf, das Model bei Laune zu halten, es in die optimale Posen zu dirigieren und dann im richtigen Moment abzudrücken. Bei der Portraitfotografie möchte man nicht nur eine schöne Aufnahme, sondern will einen Menschen in einem ganz besonderen Licht dastehen lassen. Mal besonders attraktiv, mal sehr interessant, vielleicht aber auch etwas bedrohlich oder ängstlich.
